Do you shoot weddings?

I am not currently booking Weddings to the public. However, if you are a return client please feel free to reach out for availability and info.

Do you shoot Newborns?

I am not currently booking Newborn Sessions at the moment.

Can I extend the session on the day of?

If you have a one on one session and something happens the day of, we can reschedule up to 2 times without a rebooking fee. Mini Sessions are not as easy to reschedule due to capacity, availability and fees that go in to Mini Sessions. In the event that you can not make a Mini Session event the session time is forfeited unfortunately. Please see my Retainer Section for more information.

What kind of gear do you use?

I alternate between both Canon and Nikon brand DSLR equipment depending on location and session type. I am a natural light photographer but do have continuous and flash equipment for certain results in sessions.

What is the Retainer for?

Retainers are specific to the session type and are to reserve the date/time off of the Photography Schedule. Retainers are nonrefundable and non-transferable. In the event of illness or emergency, the client will receive full credit for amount paid toward a future session. This must be for the same session type and within 1 year of original session booking date. This excludes Mini Sessions and Special Events. In the event of a missed Mini Session or Special Event, retainers are forfeited due to costs associated with arranging your session and time still used off the photographers schedule that is reserved.
Clients are allowed 2 non-emergency reschedules within 1 year without re-booking fee. Photographer is allowed 2 non-emergency reschedules before credit will be issued for future date. Photographer is allow 1 Emergency reschedule not applicable to inclement weather or acts of God.
Retainers only secure your spot on my schedule and do not count toward payment of the session itself. No refunds are issued for retainers but credit will be issued as outlined within this paragraph when applicable.

Do I have to order prints through you?

Prints and products are available in your client gallery. However, you are not required to order prints through me. My session fee currently includes a digital download with release.

How long does it take to get my images?

Typical turn around time is 2-3 days for sneak peaks and 2-3 weeks for online gallery access to completed sessions. for standard sessions. This time will be different during peak periods during the months of Sept-Dec. Weddings can take 3-4 weeks during non peak season and 6-8 weeks during peak, or periods of high activity such as Prom and Easter. We typically discuss turnaround time during booking or prior to your session.

What if it rains on our session date?

Unfortunately things do happen and weather can be one of those cases. Decisions to reschedule are at my discretion in order to protect gear and offer the best session experience. In the event of inclement weather, lighting conditions are not up to par or other unforeseen circumstance, we will schedule a back up date that works for you. If client is not available for a makeup date, they will be issued a full value credit that can used at a future date at their convenience up to 1 year. This cannot be used towards Mini Events unless the original session was also a Mini Event rained out or cancelled for unforeseen circumstances.

I just need a few images, can I book a Mini Session?

I LOVE Mini Sessions! These are typically reserved for seasonal, holiday or special offers and are only available on these select occasions. Keep an eye out on my Facebook Page for upcoming Mini Events!

Oh No! What if I'm late?

Things happen and we can always do our best to try to work around where we can. For one on one sessions it is my discretion based on lighting, other sessions booked that day and schedule if we need to reschedule due to tardiness. For Mini Sessions, the start time and end time does not change regardless of tardiness. If you arrive 10 minutes after start time for your Mini Session, unfortunately you may only have 5-10 minutes remaining of shoot time. These are back to back and there is no flexibility to extend or move time slots. If you do not make your session time for Minis, that time is forfeited and no credit can be issued due to the costs and retainers associated with Mini Events. A reminder and details are sent out prior to Mini Session date. I never want anyone to miss their images with me, so please be sure to plan to be there early to avoid missing your time slot!

When does my Gift Certificate expire?

Gift Certificates are good for 1 year to the date of issue.

I don't see the session type I'm looking for on your site, can I still book?

At certain times of the year or when I'm focused on specific session types, I may not offer some session availability. For example, I close Wedding bookings quite often when I prefer to work with other session types. If the session type you are looking for is not listed, do not be discouraged! Shoot me a message and I will be glad to see if we can arrange something that fits your needs.
